Rockhampton – Women’s Journey

Women’s Journey is a FREE 8-week program that runs for up to 4 hours (during school hours) each week.

We discuss and focus about personal development, and our future in Central Queensland.

If you are a mother, grandmother, aunt, foster mother or female family friend who cares for children aged
0-12 years, this program is for you!

In this program, you will:

  • look at our past: where did we come from, what has made us who we are?
  • learn about the power of positive thinking
  • check out our strengths, values and motivation
  • hear from a variety of guest speakers about:
    • mental health
    • volunteering
    • renting and rights
    • respectful relationships
    • health screenings
    • gender diversity/equal rights
    • emergency awareness and fire safety
    • body image
    • financial capability

When: Fridays, 9.30am – 1.30pm (starting 26th April for 8 weeks)
Where: 223 Campbell St, Rockhampton
Free. Registration required.
Light lunch and refreshment will be provided.

Free childminding is also available upon request.

This program can only be accessed by people who live in the Capricornia Region.
