Culture Cafe; Now in Rockhampton too!

Learning about another person’s culture is even better when it comes from someone who lives within your community. Partnering with our local libraries allows even more involvement and we are extremely grateful for their collaboration.

Culture Café offers a personal perspective as the presenter can detail their own experiences, family traditions and cultural practices.
We would be delighted to have you as one of our presenters! Please feel free to participate and share your stories with us. Previously we have had people speak about Germany, Vietnam, France and Colombia. If you are from more than one country, you are more than welcome to talk about your experiences. Culture Café focuses on the intersection of culture and tradition for those who have relocated to our communities.

For the first time, Rockhampton will also enjoy Culture Cafe! Our very own Mirjam will be presenting Culture Cafe, talking about the Netherlands. This is a great opportunity to hear interesting stories and even have a taste of Dutch food.
