Biggest Morning Tea Brews Lots of Funds
Friday, 17th May, at the Integreat Queensland Mad Hatters High Tea, we had a blast wearing hats, sipping tea, and enjoying delicious food. The creativity of everyone there was truly impressive – there was whimsy, sparkle, and fun all around!
Of course, the important reason we were all gathered was not forgotten, as we heard from Ros as she spoke of those precious souls lost to cancer, those who continue to survive, as well as the services built to support them all. Hearing these stories reminds us how vital it is to care for those around us and show love while we have them.
We thank all who attended as they made this event memorable and helped raise funds for Cancer Council Australia.
Special thanks – Thank you to Minister Glenn Butcher MP, Deputy Mayor Natalia Muszkat and representative from Colin Boyce’s Member for Flynn office, for joining us and NFP House for supporting us.
We also thank all the volunteers who made this event such a success. We could not have accomplished these events without you!
The Morning Tea was prepared by Integreat Queensland’s Micro Food Business participants. We are so proud of them all! Our Micro Food Business program is proudly sponsored by Gladstone Region Council’s Elevator Fund.
Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea is Cancer Council Australia’s most popular fundraising event and the largest, most successful event of its kind in Australia.
